Apartments in the skyscrapers of Dubai Marina are a league on their own, but when our clients recently moved into an apartment in Al Majara 2, they wanted to change it completely! So they came to the Renovation Experts with their vision of a brightened, open space with light colors, a modern touch, and a contemporary feel, and we gave them just that by Apartment Renovation at Al Majara Dubai Marina completely.
This luxury apartment tower stands tall in Dubai Marina, offering the spectacular views of the promenade. The prime location of Al-Majara 2 tower is the highlight for the residents because of the convenience in connectivity with other areas in Dubai and the world-class amenities in the tower. Our clients residing in Al-Majara 2, wanted to level up the interiors of their apartment to freshen up the look and match with their aesthetics. Apartment entrance with shoe rack and sitting arrangement
The entrance to a house offers a glimpse into the interior of the house! It is a highly underestimated area with immense potential to make your house feel like a home to you and your guests. While renovating this apartment in Dubai, our goal was not only to make it look aesthetically appealing but to make it as functional as possible. To achieve it, we added a stunning and comfortable wall-attached couch seat in a light brown color that blends perfectly with the white walls, giving it the illusion of bigger space.
However, that is not all we had in store for our clients! We have seamlessly concealed a shoe rack into this couch; our clients can comfortably store their shoes here, sit and take them off, or wear them on conveniently without toppling over. An additional cabinet on top of the wall and a rack to showcase some showpieces is also incorporated, adding beauty to the mudroom-style entrance of this newly renovated apartment in Dubai. From the entrance of the apartment, you step onto the most premium wooden flooring done in Sigurt wood in a neutral and classy African ash shade. The flooring style continues consistently across the entire apartment, making it pleasing to the eye.

The kitchen in this Dubai apartment called for a head-to-toe makeover, so we set on our mission to remodel and redesign the kitchen. The renovation started by completely demolishing the existing walls, structures, and fixtures in the kitchen area. That created a blank canvas for our Renovation Experts’ designers to show their magic and turn it into the client’s dream kitchen in Dubai.
Our team members drafted a new design to remodel the kitchen, where they demolished a separating wall from the living room to transform it into an open kitchen. During the kitchen renovation, all electrical wirings and drainage pipes were laid down from scratch according to the new layout. A new gypsum ceiling with ample lighting was also installed. Our clients made a classic selection of white walls for a timeless and effortless look that continues throughout the apartment.

The soul of any kitchen renovation lies in the cabinets and countertops’ design and details. Thus, we thoroughly discussed with our clients what they had in mind regarding the kitchen redesign and opted for a white King Calcutta Quartz 12 mm thickness with a front thickness of 24mm. This countertop stood well against the light-brown cabinets in the kitchen that are installed in a seamless way.
This Al Majara 2 apartment’s kitchen renovation features ample storage space of different kinds, including cabinets and drawers of different sizes to serve various functions; like storing a range of pots, kitchen electronics, crockery, and cutlery. To add a touch of class to the storage space, fully extendible drawer runners by Blum Antaro were installed, that have soft closing to save your ears from the banging drawers. The sleek and flawless finish of these drawers not only contributes to the functionality of the kitchen but also to its modern renovated look.
Bosch kitchen appliances for top-tier amenities in the kitchen
How can we forget to mention the top-notch electrical appliances that the Renovation Experts team installed in this Dubai apartment? Our company aims at supplying premium appliances when it comes to a home renovation in Dubai, therefore we opted for a Bosch microwave, oven, and induction stove. The silver and black color in these stunning Bosch kitchen appliances creates continuity in the color scheme of the apartment as all the fixtures are installed in black, including the wide rectangular aluminum base sink with a black extendable tap.
Walk-in closet with LED lighting in the master bedroom after renovation
We initiated the process of home renovation in this apartment by demolishing the closet in the master bedroom, as our clients had envisioned a walk-in closet in that space. Once the debris was discarded carefully, we built a new LED-lit walk-in closet with various open-style shelves serving different purposes. A door painted in a white semi-gloss finish was also put up to secure the closet in the same white color as the walls to create an illusion of roominess. To brighten up the space, we installed ample lighting and a contemporary chandelier as a statement piece.
Bedroom renovation and remodeling to add a vanity desk
The other two bedrooms were equally given attention by our professional team members. These room makeovers consisted of repainting the walls with the premium Jotun Fenomastic Richmatt paint in white color; this paint is easy to maintain and lasts a lifetime.
Wardrobe installation in the bedroom
A new wardrobe was also installed in the bedroom along with a vanity desk and a shoe rack with a sitting top. For added functionality and luxury, a wall-hung console unit was installed in the bedroom. All in all, our clients loved seeing their bright, luxurious, and aesthetically appealing bedrooms where they could find comfort and ease on a day-to-day basis.
Bathroom renovation in the apartment
Although this renovation project included a top-to-toe makeover of the apartment, one of the most essential parts of this renovation was the bathroom renovations. All three bathrooms including the master bathroom were demolished from ceiling to flooring as they had to be redesigned and remodeled. New gypsum ceilings were installed in all the bathrooms in addition to beautiful vanities and bath showers.

We couldn’t resist leveling up the master bathroom game! So, we added a free-standing bathtub in addition to the bath shower which is separated by a glass separator with a matte black finish. The rain shower offers a relaxing experience with tiny droplets falling on your skin like it is raining, whereas the bathtub lets you indulge in a rejuvenating experience after a long work day. For a luxurious look, the walls are tiled in a subtle light brown shade called ‘Tibur’ from Baalbek Novona, which enhances the beauty of the bathroom.
All the sanitary fixtures and accessories by Casa Milano in matte black were installed to add depth and a modern feel to the bathroom. The master bathroom also features our all-time favorite double sink vanity in light brown and white color offering a much-desired personal space and comfort in a shared bathroom. There is plenty of storage in the vanity to organize all our clients’ bath essentials.
Powder room with herringbone-styled ceramic wall
In the other bathrooms, the walls are kept minimalistic with white wall paint. To add a twist to the powder room, we designed a herringbone-styled ceramic tiled wall for the vanity with a classic round mirror and open racks for storage. The patterns, colors, and design play just right to give that oomph to the rather compact powder room.
Post renovation living and dining room in the middle of the apartment
The living room is the center of the house and it should be renovated in a way that allows free movement and comfort so you can relax and rewind with your family. The living room renovation in this Dubai apartment involved a great deal of redesigning to create a room where our clients could cherish all their family moments and make memories. The windows were given a glow-up by changing the existing marble boundaries around them and replacing them with 2 cm quartz all around. This instantly elevated the look of the room!
Media wall with wall-hung console and integrated LED
We made further changes by installing a gorgeous media wall with an MDF baseboard and wooden frame for the LED. If you look closely, you will be able to tell the difference an integrated design makes; as the LED has been fixed inside the wall panel, the media wall appears to be more sleek and stylish. To bring it to a full circle, we added a wall-hung console unit with a soft closing drawer for storage.

Right against the media wall, a beautiful and compact sitting desk with a cushioned top is arranged so the clients can enjoy their TV time. The living room is full of light and vibrancy due to the stunning glass windows that overlook the massive Dubai Marina. Therefore we added some mood lighting and spotlights in the living room, giving it a modern, chic, and alluring ambiance.
