Newly extended kitchen and dining area after kitchen renovation
“If you can organize your kitchen, you can organize your life.” – Louis Parrish
The kitchen is the heart of one’s home and it has to be designed in a way that enables and facilitates the family. Be it cooking a family meal, preparing a coffee for the morning rush, or storing appliances and groceries, the kitchen’s design plays an important role in the way all these chores are taken care of. Therefore, our clients emphasized a great deal on transforming their old kitchen into one that caters to their family needs and displays their aesthetics.
The old kitchen’s conversion into a stunning dining room for mealtime
This laborious project started with demolishing the old kitchen counters, walls, and doors, followed by removing debris from the site. The Renovation Experts had a greater challenge at hand! It was to create a dining area that fulfilled our client’s desire to make the most of their family get-together around the meals. It had to be sophisticated, warm, and convenient, thus the color theme of the dining area had to be chosen wisely. Firstly, to add a modern touch, we installed half-wall panels in a beautiful, contrasting olive green on both sides, creating a beautiful earthy aura around the dining area. Green is believed to evoke freshness and promote healthy eating habits and good appetite, which makes it a great choice of color for a dining hall.
The tiling is done in shades of brown to match the natural and minimalist vibe of the dining area. These shades compliment the off-white walls and the natural wood dining table, bringing the whole vibe to a circle.
Paneling on the dining room walls and installation of new electrical outlets
Since this area in the villa was previously the kitchen, it required lengthy plumbing and electrical work. All water pipelines, drainage lines, and drainage outlets had to be closed and redirected to the new kitchen area. Extensive electrical rewiring was done in order to close off any extra electrical connections and new electrical outlets were installed.
New gypsum ceiling with LED lighting
The large window on one side of the dining area lets in ample natural light which highlights the organic and natural feel of the space. For additional lighting, LED lights have been installed in the gypsum ceiling complimenting the stunning contemporary chandelier which is a showstopper.
The final look after the kitchen extension
As the old kitchen had been converted into a beautiful dining room, we created a new area for the remodeled kitchen by extending the existing area. To keep the space bright and radiant, a new ceiling with LED lighting and a waterproof window were also installed. The white and gold kitchen accessories are harmonious with the sophisticated RAK ceramic porcelain tiles in a wood nut shade. After the kitchen renovations, a new pantry area was also built in the ground floor kitchen for extra storage and organization of groceries.
Extended area facing the garden
The most exciting and important phase of this project was the villa extension. We extended and remodeled the villa to create a mesmerizing sitting space opposite the kitchen and dining room. Here, our clients can relax and cherish their beautiful family moments while soaking in the beauty of the lush garden and natural light. The paint of the room as well as that of the door and window frames compliments other furnishings in this area. It is cozy, warm, and comforting.
Staircase Remodeling
Having balanced and stable steps in the staircase is extremely important to avoid any mishaps and accidents, therefore the Renovation Experts demolished the staircase and built new steps from scratch. The tiling is maintained in the same color and finish as the rest of the house for an aesthetically pleasing look.
Master bedroom renovation
Every bedroom in this villa has a personality and character of its own. This master bedroom was transformed with a fresh coat of white paint and a contrasting tranquil blue on the statement wall for the wooden bed to shine. Other furniture items complement the wall and flooring to complete the overall look of the bedroom in a classy way.
TV wall in bedroom
In the other two rooms, we designed TV/media walls with MDF shelves and cupboards for organizing toys and books for our clients’ little ones. As the blue color is giving away, this room belongs to our little superhero-enthusiast client who wanted ample space to place all his superhero toys and cars in reach, so we presented exactly that
Bedroom Renovation
The bedroom wardrobes were also refurbished to make it more space-efficient and convenient. The built-in cupboards were given a new life by putting in new shelves and the wardrobes in other rooms were revamped by changing their interior as well as pasting mirrors on the front.
Media wall in the living room after renovation
The living room is usually the high-traffic area in every household where the family comes together to chit-chat about their day, relax, and rewind. It is a space that should be pleasing to the eye, comfortable, and the center of entertainment in your home. When we redesigned this living room during home renovations, we wanted to create a separation between the living room and the extended sitting space. This led us to the idea of tactfully building a media wall between the two. A paneled media wall with side shelves for placing showpieces, and a built-in console with LED lighting completely elevated the visual appearance of this living room. It serves the purpose of creating privacy between the two areas as well as having a free area where the family members can reconnect every day.
EXTENSION FOR STUDY ROOM
Our clients’ vision included a dedicated room to carry on with their office work and kid’s studies therefore we redesigned the extended area to build a study room behind the living room. This space includes an office workstation where our clients can continue with their work with full concentration and in an organized manner.
Tiling on the staircase, first floor, and ground floor
Overall, a home renovation calls for many miscellaneous tasks that support the structure and function of the architecture. What starts from the demolishing of old structures and removing of debris, carries forward with creating new water supplies, sewerage lines, and the supply of electrical lines. In this home renovation project in the Arabian Ranches 2 Villa, we conducted the electrical work, plumbing work, exterior paint, interior paint, tiling of 1st floor and ground floor, and sanitization of the AC ducts other than the major renovation tasks.
